If you were to think of a rapper from Florida who advocates for Latin Americans around the world, there’s no one else that you can think of other than Mr. Worldwide himself, Pitbull. Pitbull and T-pain are bringing classic hits around America on the “Party After hours” tour consisting of 27 breathtaking performances being supported by multiple Globalization DJs. This multicultural line up brought so many different styles of music from all around the world to RV style Inn amphitheater in Ridgefield, Washington on September 27th 2024, and you can be sure that he brought his A-game, bringing his fans a “Party after dark”.
T-Pain came out to a roaring crowd, hyping everyone up before the big dog himself came out on stage. T-Pain was also joined by Dj/Producer Dj Montay who has been a long time friend of T-Pain since they produced “Low” by FloRida (feat. T-pain) back in 2008. T-Pain and Dj Montay’s relationship on stage is unmatched by any other artist around. They give the crowd a feeling that they have been brothers not by blood since birth. The chemistry between the 2 artists is so natural they could have this bond until the end of time. T-Pain mentioned that his job was to get the crowd ready for Pitbull and stall time so that “Pitbull can put on the tightest pants known to mankind”. T-Pain had also mentioned that when Pitbull comes out in the tightest pants that the class of the crowd is going to go away so it is their job to “keep it classy”. After he mentioned keeping it classy while performing the song “I’m sprung” he was dancing around the stage and humping the air. After said song, T-Pain mentioned to Dj Montay that “we were supposed to keep it classy, but there I go putting my dick in the good people of Washington’s face again”. T-Pain had mentioned to the crowd that Washington is such a beautiful state he wants the crowd “to light it up”, as everyone puts their phones in the air he then said “yall some stupid mother fuckas too cause MY phone is at 70%, but by the end of this show all yalls phone gonna be dead and you can’t get an uber home, so that’s on you”. After His cover of Dj khalids “All I do is win” T-Pain thanked his fans and left the stage ready for the big dog himself, Pitbull.
As the lights went berserk and the music started, Pitbull appeared from the darkness to start off the party. Throughout the night Pitbull had frequently switched back and forth from singing in Spanish and singing in English, the reason why is because he wanted everyone in that crowd to leave the party “Trilingual”, he had mentioned that the first language we all knew and we could all hear is music, the second was Spanish and third was English. Pitbull wanted everyone to be “international” which was a perfect segway into his song “International love”. Through the night Pitbull had played multiple covers such as “Seven Nation Army” , ”Whoop! There it is”, “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and more. Before Pitbull played his cover of “Living On a Prayer” by Bon Jovi he had a small yet deep hearted speech to say to the crowd about how he wanted to take the good people of Washington back to his favorite era of music, the 80’s-90’s. “The 80’s and 90’s were my favorite era and years because back then not everyone had a cell phone, not everyone had a pager, and if you did you were an entrepreneur moving a different kind of product if you know what I mean. They were the times that all people cared about was hanging out with real people that we knew were fun, having real conversations face to face, and we were all Living on a prayer”. Afterwards Pitbull brought T-pain on stage and together they brought the crowd to their feet with their song “Hey baby”, when I tell you the crowd went wild they went absolutely manic, with T-pain in a yellow suit jacket and Pitbull in red they obliterated the crowd. Then to make the chaos even more visceral, Pitbull brought out Lil Jon to play “Culo”. Pitbull and with the team that he calls “Seal team six” which consists of his dancers, his producers, his management, and all production crew, he is able to make it feel like you are in a small club playing the best music from the 2000’s-2010’s even though you are in a huge sold out venue. Pitbull will always be Mr.Worldwide for a reason and I feel that he will go down as one of the greats!
