When We Were Young Festival Announced!

Seemingly overnight, a festival announcement which stirred the imaginations of thousands of music fans was made public. As the Internet began to embrace the magnitude of the announcement, the When We Were Young Festival began trending all over social media.

On Saturday, October 22nd, dozens of the biggest punk, and emo bands will converge on Sin City for 12 hours of musical camaraderie the likes of which we haven’t seen since Warped Tour. Headlined by My Chemical Romance and Paramore, and joined by Bring Me The Horizon, A Day To Remember, Avril Lavigne, Bright Eyes and many others, one must wonder how such a feat will be pulled off. The logistics are simply boggling. With nearly 70 bands slated to appear, on 3 stages over the course of 12 hours, several internet pundits have compared the announcement to the ill-fated Fyre Festival. With nearly 10 months to go between now and the actual show, we can expect that the logistics will be worked out. Also, with the current state of the pandemic, one can assume that several of the announced bands will be dropping off the bill.

Tickets presale begins January 21st at 10:00AM PST.
